Posada

In a Mexican Posada celebration the participants re-enact Mary & Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem where they were refused lodging.  It is a poignant tradition at this moment as so many migrants throughout the world are seeking safe harbor.  Casa Romero held its own Posada before Christmas, beginning with a procession to step into the story of Joseph and Mary’s struggle and followed by a grand celebration with music and food.  Here are a few of the re-enactment participants.
